While hosted by the Beagle Association, the Beagle of the Year is an independent competition. From 2015 FCI results will no longer be recorded separately, but, where applicable, will be included in the Beagle of the Year Categories.
As KUSA are now publishing marked catalogues it is now possible to keep an accurate record of dogs present. To make for a fairer competition with effect from January 2019, a weighting based on the number of dogs present will be applied to the points allocated for the various categories.

Results from the years 2011 - 2019, from the Beagle of the Year competition as managed by the late Shuna de Villiers, have been archived, and can be found here.
Unfortunately, after Shuna's passing in 2020, and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no results are available for the years 2020 - 2024. However, once revived, the winners of the years 2025 onwards will be published here annually.
